Venice, Murano & Burano

Our visit to Venice and some of the surrounding islands was short. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the greatest as it was cloudy, cool and had intermittent rain. We had a lovely dinner near the Rialto bridge in the evening, as we watched the gondoliers go by. Then we took the water bus to Murano to see the blown glass followed by a visit to Burano to see the painted houses and the lovely Italian lace.
