We took the train to Paris, this was our best train trip! While in Paris, we stayed in the Latin Quarter, taking the subway to most of our destinations. We used the hop-on, hop-off bus to become familiar with some of the sites. The first evening we went to see the Eiffel tower up close, taking a night time tour so that we could see the sunset from the top, it was spectacular. We wandered up the Champs-Elyssees and explored the Arc de Triomphe de l’Etoile. We walked through the Notre Dame Cathedral and had a guided tour of the Lourve. Since we were in France, we had the opportunity to go on a tour of the Champagne region, visiting the Mumm and Moet and Chandon wineries. We also spent a little time in Reims.
