Periodically on Facebook, my photography friends invite me to participate in a Photo Challenge. This time it was a Nature Photo Challenge for 7 days. I picked my favorites of photos taken in 2015.
Day 1
The photo of Niagara Falls was taken from our hotel window. I was excited to capture a rainbow and to try portray how powerful the falls are. Maybe another time when the wind is in a different direction, I will be able to get some photos with a closer view.
Day 2
These beautiful red leaves were discovered on a shed in St. Alphonse, MB this fall.
Day 3
This photo was taken on October 31, 2015 after a lovely long lunch with my friend Louise. We had intended to more time wandering around the English Gardens, but enjoyed catching up so much that we only had a few minutes for taking pictures. This was one of a few I took that day.
Day 4
This photo is taken from the top of a hill in my brother’s pasture located in southern Manitoba. This is one of my favorite places to relax, hike, explore and enjoy the beauty the nature offers us.
Day 5
This photo was taken on my cousin’s beautiful property in West Kelowna.
Day 6
Peek-a-boo, I see you!
I came across a few deer one day while walking in the Assiniboine Forest, usually they scamper away, but this day we watched each other through the trees.
Day 7
One of the beautiful polar bears in the Journey to Churchill exhibit at Assiniboine Park Zoo. They are so fun to watch as they play. One day I hope to see them in their natural habitat.
