Our trip began in Brussels, Belgium in August. We arrived in the morning, then caught a train to downtown Brussels near our hotel. The first day we wandered toward Grand Place exploring that area. Our second day, we had booked a “Free” walking tour with Sandleman tours, which was a very good experience. Our guide was entertaining and knowledgeable about the history of Belgium and Brussels’ beautiful buildings, sites and people. The royal palace was open to tours, so we were able to take advantage of that.
